BIOGRAPHY:

Farrukh Sohail Goindi, currently serves as the Central Secretary of Information with the Pakistan Peoples Party, in charge of supervising the cultural wing. He is a founding member of the Pak-India People’s Forum for Peace and Democracy, and Convener of the Foundation for Democracy-Pakistan. Mr. Goindi has contributed dramatically to the cause of Democracy in Pakistan over the past twenty-four years by working for the establishment of Human Rights in that nation, including women’s rights.

A participant in several international conferences, Mr. Goindi has personally organized seminars on vital national and international issues in which he has hosted leading political and human rights leaders, intellectuals, writers and journalists. Author of numerous books and papers, Mr. Goindi currently has three books awaiting publication.
