• August 22, 2003 Ms. Nirmala Deshpande holds a press conference in Wahsington DC
• May 27, 2003 Conference at the King's College London, UK, on "The Position of Minorities in India" sponsored by the University of Leicester and the Kings College in London UK on May 27th.  The conference discussed the status of Christians and other religious minorities in India after the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in 1998.
• April 28, 2003 Panel Discussion-Prospects for a Plural, Secular democratic government in Iraq and Afghanistan:
  The Institute sponsored a Panel Discussion at the Dirksen Senate Office Building to brainstorm about the ways to bring about a modern democratic form of government in Iraq and Afghanistan.
• Feb 27, 2003 Press Conference to commemorate the first anniversary of Pogroms in India:
  The Policy Institute For Religion And State organized a Press Conference at the US Capitol to review and analyze the state of affairs for the religious minorities in Gujarat India one year after the violence broke out.
• Feb 7, 2003 Press Conference at the National Press Building, Washington DC
  A report was published in Washington DC. The report is a compilation of the proceedings of a conference held in London, UK on 15th August 2002, about the pogroms which took place in Gujarat, India in February of 2002. The report titled "Healing the Wounds" was published by the South Asian Development Partnership, UK.
• July 18, 2002 Symposium on South Asia
  A symposium on South Asia was sponsored by PIFRAS to discuss various issues confronting the South Asian region. The subject dealt with during the day long Symposium were Religious Politics, Nuclear Threat, Socio-Economic Development and US-South Asia Trade issues
